India finished fourth in the medal tally, with an impressive 85 medals which includes 21 gold, 27 silver, and 37 bronze. Indian shooter Neeru Dhanda, who clinched two golds and a silver at the Games, was India’s flag-bearer at the closing ceremony.
The ceremonial torch and flag were handed over to Qatar, which is the host of next edition in Doha in 2030.
Pranavi Urs won India’s first-ever gold medal in Golf. Kumkum Anil Mohod won the first ever individual recurve gold medal in women category.
